Terms of Service

Last updated: 26 October 2026

These are the terms for using MOOTD. By creating an account, you agree to them.

MOOTD is run by MOOTD SIA, a company registered in Latvia, registration number 40203765421. Contact: info@mootd.ai.

What MOOTD does

MOOTD helps you use the clothes you already own — photograph them, build a digital wardrobe, get outfit suggestions, and see what you actually wear.

Suggestions are suggestions. We use AI, it gets things wrong sometimes, and you're the one deciding what to put on.

Your account

You need to be 16 or older.

Keep your login details to yourself — anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us at info@mootd.ai if you think someone else has access.

Give us accurate information when you sign up, and keep it current.

Your photos and wardrobe stay yours

You own everything you upload. We don't.

To run the app, we need your permission to process your photos so the app can recognise your clothes and create a clean image of each item for your wardrobe. We delete your original photo once the item is saved to your wardrobe. The images we create are kept for as long as your account exists and are deleted when you delete it. You're free to use and share them as you like.

Your suggestions adapt to what you wear and choose, within your own account. We don't train AI models on your data. The Privacy Policy explains what that covers.

If we ever want to do something outside this, we'll ask you first and you can say no.

What you can't do

Reasonable stuff, briefly:

  • Don't upload anything illegal, or anything you don't have the right to upload
  • Don't upload photos of other people without their agreement
  • Don't try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the app
  • Don't scrape the app or use bots on it
  • Don't resell or redistribute MOOTD

If you seriously break these terms we may suspend or close your account. Where it's reasonable to do so, we'll warn you first and explain why.

Paying

MOOTD is free to use. There's nothing to buy, no subscription, and we don't ask for your card.

If we introduce paid features later, we'll update these terms and tell you before anything changes. Nothing you have now will start costing money without you agreeing to it first.

Our side

The app, the design, the name and the software are ours. Using MOOTD doesn't transfer any of that to you.

To understand how MOOTD is used and to improve it, we collect data about how you use the app, such as which features you use and how long you spend in it. The Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how long we keep it.

We'll try to keep MOOTD running and working properly, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or improve features over time. If we ever discontinue the service, we'll give you reasonable notice and time to export your wardrobe.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account). Your data goes with it — see the Privacy Policy.

We can suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we have to for legal reasons. Except where that's not possible, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to respond and to get your data out.

If something goes wrong

MOOTD is early-stage software built by a small team. We're still figuring things out. Features will change, things will occasionally break, and we can't promise your data will never be lost or corrupted. We don't keep your original photos once an item is saved, so keep your own copies of any that matter to you. You can download your wardrobe at any time from Profile → Privacy & data.

We're liable only as far as the law requires, and we don't limit our liability where the law doesn't allow us to. We're not liable for indirect or knock-on losses, including lost data.

Your rights as a consumer under Latvian and EU law apply whatever these terms say.

MOOTD isn't professional advice of any kind. It suggests outfits.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Latvian law. If you're a consumer in another EU country, you keep the protections of your own country's law, and you can bring a claim in your own courts.

If you have a problem, email info@mootd.ai first — most things get sorted that way. If we can't resolve it between us, you can contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības centrs) in Latvia, or the consumer protection body in your own country.

Changes to these terms

If we change anything important, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you don't agree with a change, you can close your account. We won't rely on you noticing a new date at the top.
